The commission for Tenderhearted Ministry is from Isaiah 61: 1-4 "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes; the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that He may be glorified." Also, from Luke 4: 18-19 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor, He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord." ur vision for the Tenderhearted Ministry is to see healing and deliverance administered to the Body of Christ along with being a net to reach out to the unsaved bringing them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Savior. The burden God has given to us is to see the captive healed, delivered, and set free from the wounds and bondages that have prevented them from walking in the knowledge of the love of God and the unity to which Christ calls His Body. In John 17:20-23 Jesus said "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as we are one; I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me."
We also see Tenderhearted being used as an instrument of healing for the Pastors and Leaders of the Body of Christ; for their marriages and relationships as well as their individual lives. We believe that God will use Tenderhearted throughout the world as an instrument of healing and reconciliation for the end-time harvest. In April, 1991 the Lord gave a word from Habakkuk 2:2-3 "Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come it will not tarry." Again, in February, 1993 from Habakkuk 1:5 "Look among the nations and watch - be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you. " |
